Managing Partner
Arturo Jordan, managing partner of Jordan Castellon Ricardo P.L. began his public accounting career with a large local CPA firm before starting his own firm in Coral Gables in 1982. He later merged with Carlos M. Castellon, CPA to form Jordan Castellon & Co LLC in June 2003, which was later renamed Jordan Castellon Ricardo P.L. He has extensive experience in all facets of public accounting. Among his practice niches, Arturo has developed an expertise in international tax consulting, and works frequently with some of South Florida’s most reputable attorneys specializing in international taxation in servicing his extensive foreign based clientele. In 2005, he was recognized by the South Florida Business Journal for Excellence in Accounting in International Tax.
After practicing public accounting for over 25 years, Arturo has developed expertise in the following practice areas/industries: international taxation; accounting, audit and tax services for the real estate industry (construction contractors, developers, condominium associations, rental properties and investments, joint ventures, hotels and mortgage bankers); television stations and film; restaurants and bars; non-profit organizations; entertainers and professional athletes.
Arturo’s audit clients include United Way agencies and real estate loan correspondents (such as mortgage brokers) requiring HUD audits. He has also assisted high profile professional athletes and entertainers with their tax and financial planning.
Arturo is active in community and civic organizations. He is a member of the Operating Board of the Miami-Dade American Cancer Society and Vice Chairman of the Enclave at Black Point Marina Community Development District. He has been a member of the United Way Volunteer Panel, City of Miami Audit Advisory Committee and Kiwani’s Club of Coral Gables. He has also served as Treasurer of the Council of Advisors, a division of the International Business Council and a trustee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Arturo is also a member of the Latin Builders Association.
Arturo graduated from Florida International University in 1979 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in accounting. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Cuban American Certified Public Accountants.
Carlos M. Castellon, CPA*, CVA
Carlos M. Castellon, CPA, CVA started his career in public accounting in 1982 with KPMG, a “Big 4” international accounting firm, and had his own CPA firm for over 15 years before co-founding Jordan, Castellon & Co LLC in June 2003 and now Jordan Castellon Ricardo P.L. In addition to his extensive experience in tax and business advisory services, Carlos frequently consults foreign individuals and businesses entering the United States with tax, financial, business and immigration matters.
Carlos’ international speaking engagements on “How to do business in the U.S.” have helped thousands of foreigners understand the complexities of the business culture in the United States. He is a Trustee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) and has been elected to represent the Chamber at the Jay Malina International Trade Consortium of Miami-Dade County, Florida. Carlos is also a member of the GMCC’s International Committee.
Carlos founded ICG-International Consulting Group in 1996. ICG is an alliance of prestigious consulting and accounting firms located throughout the Americas and Europe. ICG is one of the largest consulting alliances specializing in the Iberoamerican markets.
Carlos was a board member of Citrus Health Network, Inc. (a non-profit mental health provider) for over ten years, serving as their treasurer. He is a board member of Florida International University’s Honors College.
Carlos graduated from Florida International University (FIU) in 1982 with a Bachelors of Business Administration majoring in Accounting. Carlos is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Venezuelan Business Club, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Cuban American Certified Public Accountants. He is currently a member of the Latin Builders Association.

ED RICARDO, CPA*/ABV/CFF, CVA
Ed Ricardo became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Florida in May 1986. He started his career in public accounting as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand, which at the time was a "Big 8" accounting firm. Prior to joining Jordan, Castellon & Company, LLC in June 2003, he was a shareholder with two local CPA firms, and most recently was Director of Business Valuations at CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory of South Florida (a Florida subsidiary of Century Business Services, the nation's 7th largest accounting firm). He has extensive experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, taxation, business valuations and litigation support.
Ed's experience includes due diligence work in connection with mergers and acquisitions, providing financial analysis to attorneys regarding insurance claim matters, and litigation support and forensic accounting services. He has performed an extensive number of formal business valuation reports in connection with Federal estate, gift and income tax matters. Ed also represents clients in tax controversy matters before the IRS and other taxing authorities.
Ed also assists matrimonial law attorneys in divorce cases by preparing financial affidavits and child support calculations, business valuations and equitable distribution schedules, lifestyle analysis and asset tracing procedures, and analysis of tax implications of divorce settlement agreements.
In addition to his responsibilities as a partner with the firm, Ed has written numerous articles on tax and accounting matters for various publications, including the Miami Herald, and makes annual television appearances on NBC 6 Today in South Florida providing viewers with year-end tax tips. He has been quoted in the Miami Herald's Business Sections on numerous occasions regarding tax issues.
Ed's speaking engagements include presentations before the Cuban-American CPA Association and the Association of General Contractors (AGC) on Business Valuation topics. He was also a guest speaker at the Greater Miami Dental Society on financial planning matters. Ed is a member of the 11th Judicial Circuit of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee. He is also a board member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals Palm Beach Chapter.
Ed is a graduate of Florida International University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. In addition to his CPA designation, he is Accredited in Business Valuations ("ABV") and is Certified in Financial Forensics ("CFF") by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and he is a Certified Valuation Analyst ("CVA"). Ed is a member of the AICPA, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

ARNOLD NAZUR, CPA, CFE
Arnold E. Nazur started his public accounting career in 1989 with McClain & Company, LLP, Miami’s oldest local accounting firm. He became a partner at McClain & Company in 2000, where he remained a partner until starting his own practice in May 2002, primarily as an outsourced CFO. He joined Jordan Castellon Ricardo, P.L. as a partner in February 2004. He has extensive experience in tax, accounting, auditing, bankruptcy, litigation support, and forensic accounting.
Arnold has particular expertise in servicing construction contractors, airlines, distributors and wholesalers, food manufacturers, real estate and various other professional service industries. He also has extensive experience auditing pension plans and publicly held companies.
He earned his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation in 2000. Litigation support experience includes providing services to both plaintiffs and defendants in the form of forensic accounting services, fraud investigations, insurance recovery on fraud claims, advice on accounting, financial and economic issues, evaluation of liability and damage issues, discovery assistance and document management.
Arnold is a graduate of Florida State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Arnold also gives back to the community by serving on the board of Directors of Hispanic Unity of Florida. He also assists Hispanic Unity of Florida by serving on the finance committee and by chairing the audit committee. He has been selected to be the treasurer of Hispanic Unity of Florida starting September 2007.
